Dare You To

Dare You To
by: Katie McGarry

Should you read it?: Maybe
...if you like Young Adult Romance.
Category: Young Adult

This book is part of the Pushing the Limits series. I read Pushing the Limits earlier this year and I liked it. It's got the bad guy/good girl thing going on. This one could be read alone because it's not a continuation as much as it's just a story about one of the main characters in Pushing the Limits. While Pushing the Limits is about Echo and Noah, Dare You To is about Noah's friend, Beth. This time it's a bad girl/good guy story, which is interesting. I liked it. It didn't knock my socks off or anything, but I enjoyed reading it and thought it was just a fun young adult romance.

Things I Liked:
I liked the bad girl idea this time. It was fun to read a book that took that side of it.

I thought they did a good job of dealing with the challenges the characters faced, from drug-addicted parents to overcoming your past as well as the too-conservative parents on the other side of things, pretending to have it all together. It was just interesting on a lot of sides.

I think this author must live in Kentucky. I haven't looked into it at all, but both of her books I read took place in Kentucky & as a Kentuckian, that's always fun!

Things I Didn't:
Honestly there wasn't anything in particular that I didn't like, it just wasn't completely fabulous in my mind. I'm not sure why.

Overall: Definitely worth reading if you like young adult romance at all!
