On Dublin Street

On Dublin Street
by: Samantha Young

Should you read it?: Maybe
...if you like love stories.
Category: New Adult

From Amazon: Four years ago, Jocelyn left her tragic past behind in the States and started over in Scotland, burying her grief, ignoring her demons, and forging ahead without attachments. Her solitary life is working well—until she moves into a new apartment on Dublin Street where she meets a man who shakes her carefully guarded world to its core.
Braden Carmichael is used to getting what he wants, and he’s determined to get Jocelyn into his bed. Knowing how skittish she is about entering a relationship, Braden proposes an arrangement that will satisfy their intense attraction without any strings attached.
But after an intrigued Jocelyn accepts, she realizes that Braden won’t be satisfied with just mind-blowing passion. The stubborn Scotsman is intent on truly knowing her… down to the very soul.

Things I liked:
I have learned that I like the stories where it's a rich guy. This had that, but she's a rich girl, too so it's not a rich/poor thing. Those guys just always know what they want. I loved Braden.

I thought the love story here was good. It developed over time and it didn't feel unrealistic at all.

This was a totally do-able love story for me. Some can just be too much steaminess, but this one wasn't too much. Unlike the cover may suggest...

I also enjoyed the relationship between Joss & Ellie. That was also a great element to it.

Things I didn't:
I love love stories, but I hate the covers to most of these books. It embarrasses me to read them in public. The only reason I didn't get this one on my Kindle was because it was at my library. If it's free, I'm going to go for free.

Overall: If you like love stories, you'll probably like this.
